While the NASCAR plans remain up in the air, what is now known is that Danica Patrick will race in the IndyCar Series for the next 3 years. She will remain with Andretti Green Racing in the #7 car.
Regardless of whatever happens with NASCAR, staying at AGR is Danica's best spot with Penske full and Ganassi apparently not interested. She remains 5th in points behind the top two teams (who again, have won every race but one this year) despite AGR's generally poor year. If they can right the ship, Danica could easily contend for wins in addition to her usual consistency. Maybe that'll get the knee-jerk haters to actually realize she is not a bum.
