Meineke Car Care Bowl - 1 PM EST
West Virginia vs North Carolina
In today's first bowl game, the West Virginia Mountaineers and the North Carolina Tar Heels will meet, coming off two completely different seasons. WVU had a disappointing season after the departure of head coach Rich Rodriguez to Michigan. They started the season 1-2, with losses to East Carolina and Colorado. They followed that with 5 straight wins to salvage their season, and will now play the Tar Heels in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.
UNC is on the opposite end of the spectrum. They certainly haven't done as well recently on the football field, but are in the midst of a huge turnaround, fueled by coach Butch Davis. They started this season hot, but lost 2 of their last 3, and will now play a very talented WVU team.

Champs Sports Bowl - 4:30 PM EST
Wisconsin vs Florida State
Wisconsin and Florida State are two teams who have done very well in the past, but are coming off slightly disappointing seasons. Coach Bobby Bowden is slipping behind Penn State coach Joe Paterno in the career wins standings, and the Seminoles no longer strike fear in their opponents like they once did.

Emerald Bowl - 8:00 PM EST
Miami vs California
The Miami Hurricanes and Cal Golden Bears will finish off today's bowl games. Miami finished the season 7-5, and Cal was 8-4. 2 of Miami's losses came in the last 2 games of the year, which cost them a top 25 ranking. Cal is expected to extend Miami's losing streak to 3 in this one.
