NCAA to sit 8 Miami Hurricane players for receiving benefits

The NCAA ruled that 8 Miami Hurricane players must sit out games and repay benefits in order to play again.  Olivier Vernon will miss six games and must repay $1,200 while Ray Ray Armstrong ($788) and Dyron Dye ($738) will sit out four games.  Starting quarterback Jacory Harris ($140), Marcus Forston ($400), Sean Spence ($275), Adewale Ojomo ($240) and Travis Benjamin ($150) will sit out one game.
