NFL All-Prison team could probably win a Super Bowl
Could you assemble a full NFL team of players who committed major crimes? Yes, and they'd probably win the Super Bowl, too.
If you were told to field an NFL team out of players who had committed major crimes, you'd field a team that would be utterly ridiculous in terms of talent.

OJ Simpson in the backfield, Mike Vick at QB, Lawrence Taylor at linebacker, Michael Irvin at wide receiver, etc.

It's truly amazing when you stop and think about it. And people think the NBA is a thug's league. No sir, not even close to the NFL.

My NFL Street team will be nicknamed "The Terrorists" O.J, and Laurence Billups in my backfield with Irvin and  Rae Carruth as my recievers. QB'S Mike Vick and Ryan Leaf. Oh throw in Art Schliester(Did I spell that right? LOL)  As my 3rd stringer. My head coach: Osama bin Laden
I don't think you'd actually want Ryan Leaf throwing the football.

"And people think the NBA is a thug's league. No sir, not even close to the NFL."

This isn't exactly a fair statement.  NFL teams carry 53 players, to the NBA's 15.  And since the NFL is the nation's most popular sports league (by a lot), what happens pertaining to the players in it gets much more media attention.  In the NBA we have players choking their coaches, murdering their limo drivers (allegedly), gun fights outside of clubs, players entering the stands to fight with fans, etc.  There are dumb criminals in ever aspect of life, but the ratio of occurrences in the NBA outweighs any other league, and probably by quite a bit.

Sure he can throw, just not adequately to the members on his team.  A career 53.8% with a rating of 75.7, Vick is hardly an adequate passer in the NFL.  Exciting as a running QB sure, but Roddy White's career has taken off in Vick's absence, and White is not alone there.

By the way, OJ was found not guilty in a court of law. I'm just saying.... The guy is stupid and all and maybe that should be a crime. Or maybe you're talking about something he actually was found guilty of?

Eli Manning takes umbrage with you bashing a dude with a 75.7 career QB rating.

the list was people who were indicted, so he counts based on that.

What is considered a "THUG"? I would like to know what I should be commenting on before I reply to that statement. I know how the word is usually used. But I don't remember hearing about any major baseball league players being called "thugs", or soccer league players, tennis players, and so on....

No, the comment said those who committed major crimes. Nit indictments. Hell, if that's the case,we'd have to have major and minor leagues.

Yes but he sports a Super Bowl ring and no prison time served.  (But everything else is pretty comparable)

He also has the inane ability to look like a mentally disabled 12 year old just by adding beer:

It actually is a sad testament to a sport that used to be full of serious heroes, and men that parents wanted their kids to look up to..my cynicism now makes me wonder, did my childhood heroes just not get caught??

Did we all just suddenly forget that MLB is full of more criminals than the NBA and NFL put together? After all, 'roids were a banned substance by federal law long before MLB started testing for them, so all those MLB guys were breaking the law by participating in drug smuggling.

Really? Obviously, you must have been under a rock the last year, given that OJ was found guilty in Las Vegas of robbery & kidnapping & probably will be in jail for the rest of his life......but go ahead and crawl back under that rock, einstein.

If you say so... I think Tupac is more of a poet and prophet than an idiot.
