NFL Owners have approved a new OT rule for the playoffs

NFL Owners have approved a new rule for overtime that will go into effect next year for the playoffs. The rule will give the team that loses the coin toss a chance to get the ball if the team that wins the coin toss scores a field goal. 

Its a start.....the owners have agreed to discuss applying the rule to the regular season at their meeting in May.
