4 London games in 2012? It could happen.

Alistair Kirkwood is the managing director of NFL UK, and has big plans for the NFL in England over the next few years:
"We would like a game at the end of September and another at the end of October. If we go to two games the next step would be to go to four games per year. I would like to do that after the 2012 Olympics."

Lets just hope this is where it stops if it happens. If not I hope they dont try to put a team over there. I think it would just cause to many problems. And who knows if they can sell out 8 games there a year as opposed to 1.

I've got to tell you guys, that there is interest over here, and that if the NFL brought 4 games over here they'd be 80 or 90,000 seat near sell outs every time. London woud obviously wecome a fanchise, but I honestly do not know enough about the sport to put up an argument as to why England should get a team, but as far as I can see we're just trying to get a piece of the ever growing pie. To have an event  at Wembley stadium, you need big marketting potential, and NFL has that

This is just stupid...the NFL needs to abandon this...I for one do not want my team traveling to London for one minute, let alone in the middle of the season...what good does this serve the teams involved? The Bucs fans lose a home game (not that it is not a blessing this season) and I can't see the benefit to the Pats...If I were still a Steeler season ticket holder, I'd be pissed that I lost a game to London,....

NFL Europe was a colossal flop. No NFL team would play in Europe...the owners would never approve it, so why bother playing there.

The World League and NFL both failed overseas. When it was all said and done weren't all the teams in Germany?  I understand trying to sell the game overseas, but doing this is doing it at the expense of fans here. If they're gonna put a team over there they need to just do it already that way its not taking a home game from teams here.

Don't forget they were talking about putting a Super Bowl over there as well. Talk about a catastrophe. Imagine if your team makes it and you could've went if it was in Miami or New Orleans. Better yet and more egg on the face of the Commish would be having 2 teams that have never made the game play in the Super Bowl in London. Imagine if you will the outrage in Detroit and Cleveland if they somehow turn their respective francises around and win their conferences only to end up in a Super Bowl in London... 7 time zones away, instead of lets say Atlana.... less than 600 miles.

I think the NBA will have teams in Europe before the NFL does.

Guys, I think this is a good thing, London is nice, nice to visited, and nice to party, and I mean party like a rock star. I think keep it open on the table, cause if games do start being played in London, I also like a Superbowl to be played there, me I am all for this, well I love and enjoy flying to London and going to Duty Free  hahaha shopping and then shopping in London I like the way they dress too. It also a place I do not mind walking anytime of the day and not looking over my shoulder if something going to happen cause I am away from home and home country USA, and they speak the same language.  I want the NFL to to London then it is close to Italy, I would like to see some NFL in Italy, Japan.  I think the NFL should do the LONDON deals.  Furthermore, when going to Europe I hope it recruits some Western Europeans to play on some NFL teams to get some fighting Irish hahhaha, they use to playing football with no helmets hitting hard.
