NFL owners and players association agree to another extension

The NFL and the players' union have agreed to another extension, this time week-long, in their attempt to come to a new collective bargaining agreement.  During the next week, teams won't be allowed to talk to free agents or make player transactions, but they will be able to talk with agents of their own players.

It's another small step if you ask me but nonetheless, it's a step.  Anything can happen when the two sides are actually talking instead of choosing to play hardball and stonewalling each other.
