NFL quarterback depth-chart rankings
Finally, an NFL ranking system where the Lions aren't in last place: QB depth-chart power rankings.
READ MORE:
NFL
So Tom Brady is back this year, and Peyton Manning is pretty good too, but what happens to the Pats and Colts if these two guys get KTFO? Nothing good, that's all I can say.

Anyway, here are QB depth-chart power rankings for all NFL teams. Who came in last? Not the Lions, but the Broncos.

This could more accurately be described as "backup QB rankings". Because even with a relatively solid backup in McCown, the Panthers are still garbage at the QB position. I'd rather take my chances with Brady or Manning with no viable backup than have to start off with Jake Delhomme.

In other news, the Patriots would have been pretty low on this list last year as well, with Matt Cassel as the backup. And we saw how that turned out. So for the vast majority of these teams, people who pretend they know what the backup QB's are capable of are liars.

Lions are ranked higher than the Broncos? That's a head-scratcher!

Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning is ranked lower than Trent Edwards, Chad Pennington, Jake Delhomme, a Randy Moss-less Matt Cassel and a Terrell Owens-less Tony Romo??? What a joke.

That is about the worst list you could compile.  My 8 year old daughter could do better.

The Texans at 13?  Not a snowball's chance in Hell.

Rams 22nd, that might be the highest ranking this team sees all year

How many links could you find with life-threatening internal bleeding...let alone passes complete vs a very good NFL defense?

No way are the Broncos last...uh I know a team here in Tampa that they are ahead of..and could name at least 4 more

im a panthers fan and i agree that delhomme is a terrible qb, he didnt lead them to any titles, steve smith did, if it weren't for him delhomme would have already been fired. smith is the clutch player. he could catch any ball thrown to him those seasons. to bad delhomme wasnt smart enough to take advantage of him last season. oh yeah del-homme sucks
