Nebraska DE Ndamukong Suh should win the Heisman Trophy, but won't

Despite the fact that it's supposedly awarded to "an individual who deserves designation as the most outstanding college football player in the United States", the Heisman Trophy usually ends up going to the QB or RB from the best team in the country.

This year, it's probably going to go to Tim Tebow or Colt McCoy. And in all honesty, it will probably be determined this Saturday, when they each play in their respective conference championship games.

However, if the award were really given to the most outstanding player in the country, it would probably have to go to Nebraska DE Ndamukong Suh. In the end, he'll probably just have to settle for a slew of defensive awards and a ton of money in the 2010 NFL Draft, but I know I'll be hoping that he gets about 4 sacks against Texas, so he has a chance to win the Heisman.
