Anthony Martinez capped an improbable Nevada comeback by kicking a 34-yard field goal in overtime to give the Wolf Pack a wild 34-31 win over previously unbeaten No. 3 Boise State.  The loss ends any hopes that Boise State had of playing in the BCS title game and more then likely knocks them out of playing in a BCS game period.

Boise State had a chance to win the game in regulation but kicker Kyle Brotzman, who leads all active players in scoring, missed a 26 yard field goal with 2 seconds left.  In overtime, Boise State got the ball first and again, Brotzman missed a field goal, this time from 29 yards.  That set up Nevada with the ball needing only a field goal to win and Martinez came thru, setting off a wild scene Mackey Stadium for a Wolfpack team that was a 14 point underdog.
