Ole Miss Football: Rebels Sign Robert Nkemdiche

Robert Nkemdiche, the nation’s No. 1 prospect, has officially signed with Ole Miss, according to multiple sources, including 247Sports.com.

The five-star defensive end announced his decision this morning at 7:30 a.m. ET live on ESPNU.

Initially, Nkemdiche was committed to Clemson. He de-committed in November and showed huge signs of interest toward the Rebels ever since.

This guy brings an unbelievable skill set to the table. A running back in high school, Nkemdiche stands at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds and is a nightmare for anyone who has to attempt to block him.

His combination of size and outstanding athletic ability set him apart from the rest of the 2013 recruiting class.

Although he’ll need to continue to develop better technique, that’s the only downside to his game – if the NFL could draft out of high school, there’s no doubt his name would be called early.
