They didn't ask him about American girls, but not many like hockey anyway so maybe that's why.  American Female hockey fans are generally old enough to have been swooning over Gretzky in his prime.  Although I'm shocked Kane is talking about girls at all, he doesn't look like he's old enough to even have had his balls drop.
