Peyton Manning didn't shake anyone's hand after Super Bowl XLIV
And there's nothing wrong with that. Seriously. I don't blame him. Not one bit.
The problem is, however, that you'll hardly hear anyone talk about it, despite the fact that it was a huge scandal when Bill Belichick did it a few years ago.
Some might say "coaches and players are different, and have different expectations". Yet, when we talk about Peyton Manning's greatness, everyone wants to bring up the fact that he calls all the plays, he's like a coach on the field, he's the face of the franchise, etc.
You can't have it both ways, people. If you're going to attack Belichick for it, you need to show Manning the same treatment. And if you're not willing to attack Manning for being a selfish, whiny poor sport, then get off your high horse when someone like Bill Belichick does it.
