Phil Mickelson erased a six shot deficit in just six holes and closed with an 8 under 64 to win the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am by two shots over Charlie Wi. The headliner heading into the final round was Tiger Woods, who opened the final 18 holes 3 shots behind Wi. Woods and Mickelson played in the second to last group but it was Mickelson who stole the show, beating his rival by 11 shots. Mickelson wins for the 4th time at Pebble Beach and becomes the ninth player in PGA history to get 40 wins.
