Philip Rivers is the best QB from the 2004 draft class

Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning are both sporting some huge bling from their respective Super Bowl wins. Philip Rivers, on the other hand, is still without a Super Bowl ring.

But is Rivers the best QB out of their draft class? Pete Prisco of CBS seems to think so... and I'd be inclined to agree. Especially lately, when Rivers has been asked to carry the Chargers' offense, he has done so with incredible efficiency.

If you're looking at team success, there's no doubt that Roethlisberger and Eli Manning have a leg up. But based on individual QB play, there's really no doubt that Rivers is the best of the three. Even in the Chargers' loss to the Steelers last year in the playoffs, there's really no debating that Rivers was the better passer. If the Chargers had been able to establish the run as well as the Steelers, last year would have been an entirely different ballgame.

So... is Philip Rivers the best QB of the 2004 draft class? Or will you remain unconvinced until he gets a ring?
