Scott Van Pelt did the highlights on Sportscenter tonight and he was about 100X's better than the actual broadcast. I am glad I only watched like 30 minutes.

I missed out on it (@work) but I'm glad he won it'll get his name out more and that picture is money.
1. Joe Morgan is a good commentator and frankly I have always enjoyed what he said. When he's on with Steve Phillips I love the management/player view together.
2. The homerun derby is a show, it's for fans to come it's for players to come and have fun. Stop sticking on about steroids for it to go away probably need not to go Michael Jackson/Brett Farve and bring it up all the time. Hockey has skill comp, NBA the dunk contest/3 point shootout/skills comp, and the NFL used to have beach football and their skill comps. It's JUST FUN, no need to just have a break with just 1 game. They should do more like have a skill comp to throw the ball in a bucket like in practice or fielding grounders or who can turn the fastest double play stuff like that. Just enjoy it for what it is and Lordy put down the steroid gavel please my people.
home run derby? lol what a joke ya see how fast those pitchers were thowin the ball hell i could hit a hr at that speed. what a joke mickey and wille stargell must be rollin in there graves
It's the home run derby. It glorifies everything negative about baseball. It's like saying "Keep juicing...on the down low."
Who Cares? Truly. Does it matter?
I hardly think that the atheletes sit home and inject themselves with steroids in hopes of winning the homerun derby. I'm fairly certain the regular season is enough motivation for that. The homerun derby isn't negative. The guys had fun, the fans had fun and a lot of money was raised for charity. What is so negative about that? Of course it has no bearing on the regular season but so what? They are under pressure every other night they play. Let them go blow off some steam and get to play for fun for once.

PRINCE HAS THE BIGGEST UPPERCUT SWING IN ALL OF BASEBALL, ITS A WONDER HE GETS ANY HITS, BESIDES A HOME RUN.
Joe Morgan takes sh*t from everywhere. Why is that? He is one of the most intelligent men ever to play the game.
Heyhey, are you a HOF'er?
The Home Run Derby is a steroid-induced farce.
Maybe they should scrap the whole weekend and just play the All Star Game. Oops. Sorry I said that. I know, I know, TV rules, not sport.
Edited for language. Also, Joe Morgan sucks.
Maybe Joe Morgan gets ridiculed because he's bad at his job. He has used his platform to speak loudly against HOF candidates, but he has nothing to say about steroids. He is a joke.
