Rashard Mendenhall has been tearing things up lately for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he's now officially the starting running back for the team.
After talking about a running back rotation last week, Tomlin said Tuesday for the first time that Mendenhall is higher on the depth chart. And it seems unlikely that will change anytime soon.
"It's great to have Willie back," Tomlin said, "but Rashard has the hot hand if you will."
Man, does he ever. This is definitely a huge turn-around for Mendenhall, who was injured in his first game last season when he got trucked by Ray Lewis.
