Redskins vs Cowboys: Who will win this sunday?

by scottshapell scottshapell | 11/21/097 Comment Comments »

Watch Redskins vs Cowboys Live Streaming Right now, In the NFC East, the Washington Redskins are really playing the best football of any team in that division.

STATUS: Washington Redskins (3-6) at Dallas Cowboys (6-3).

Well, the Redskins, NFC East play on Sunday, Nov. 22, when they travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys at the Cowboys Stadium. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET. It is the first game the Redskins will play at Cowboys Stadium, opened this year. It has a surface called Real Grass Matrix.

Well, if you measure the out come of each team’s last game then you can go with Redskins. Of course, now this is the game for Burgundy and Gold to prove that they are better than Dallas Cowboys.

By their last outing, if we are not to judge these Cowboys, then their season is indeed in danger. Against the Packers, the Cowboys running backs only carried the ball 11 times.

Let’s go a week back, 19 times in the win over the Eagles. In the NFC East, this is the only time which is right now in first place with a 6-3 record.

Flozell Adams, 34-years-old, is playing like any thing by showing the wear of 12 seasons in the NFL. Now, Dallas must find some one to replace Marc Colombo (with a broken left leg and torn ligaments in his ankle) who is likely out for the rest of the NFL Season. I think, Doug Free is likely to get this first start instead of Colombo who had started 57 consecutive 57 games.

For the first time, Andre Gurode and Albert Haynesworth of the Redskins will meet on the field. What the Cowboys do possess offensively, though, is the ability to make the big play, something that has been effect to an otherwise solid Redskins defense this season.

In 2009, Miles Austin is fourth receiver who has been the rocking star of this team by leading the team with seven touches down catches with average of 20 yards per catch. Once again with 49, Tight end Jason Witten leads the team in receptions.

In the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys are ranking at 16 defensively which may be misleading as they actually gives up fewer points on average than the Redskins who are ranking at 5.

Last but not least, on the ground, in terms of controlling the game, both the Cowboys and Redskins are best. In the second stages of the loss in Atlanta, Redskins proved a willingness to beat the ball and throughout the win over the Broncos. During their four game winning streaks, Dallas Cowboys were most effective when they committed to the run.

Look for the Cowboys to run, run, run against a team who will most likely be missing their big run stopper- Albert Haynesworth!  Once the Skins start moving up into 8 man fronts- Romo will light the skies up in Dallas with the play-action pass!  Dallas in a blowout  this week 38-13 over the Skins!

I say that on any given Sunday any team can win. The Skins beat the hell out of the Eagles and I think they can do it to the Boys. I say it'll be a close game however I say the Skins will win. We'll just have to watch and see. If I'm wrong I'll admit it and there will be no need to beat me up over it. I lose graciously. No need to heckle me because I'm in no mood to heckle back. I'm sick with some kinda bug and don't want to say something I would regret. So lets all have a good weekend and a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I love all you guys and wish you all happiness and peace.

Blessed Be,
Lesley

Ummm, without sounding like I'm picking on you, when did the "Redskins beat the hell out of the Eagles" ??    The Redskins have ONLY beaten the Buccaneers, Rams, and Broncos this season and they LOST to the Eagles in the ONLY game they have played agaionst them this season 27-17!   Just curious as to what "game" you are referring to is all>>>>
