Reggie Bush says that the Saints can go undefeated this year
Reggie Bush says the Saints can go undefeated. Which, of course, now means that they have no chance.
27
"Can we go undefeated? Yes. I do think we have the players, the chemistry, we have the heart and dedication, the coaching staff, we have the players. Once I do win an NFL MVP, once we do win a Super Bowl, once I am in the Pro Bowl, it's going to be that much more special because of all the criticism that I had to come through and because of the work I've put into it, it'll mean that much more to me and I'll appreciate it more."

Alright, so Reggie is a little delusional. At this point, the only way he makes it to the Pro Bowl any time soon is if he buys himself a ticket. And MVP? I'm sorry... no matter how much he improves, that's not happening.

Yeah I like our chances of going undefeated and winning the Super Bowl sooner than Reggie Bush wins NFL MVP. But at least he has goals, lol

Please for the love of all things holy let their streak end this week. Our last game against the Saints in New Orleans on Monday Night still haunts me.

You gotta love his confidence, especially since he's contributed next to nothing in the Saints six wins. He's averaging under 4 yards a carry AGAIN, he's had some key drops in the passing game, and I think I can get more than 3 yards per punt return.  I'm not going to rule out the possibility of my Saints going undefeated, but I'll start thinking about that around Week 14. For now, I'm just concentrating on frying those Dirty Birds one wing at a time.

That is big talk coming from basically the third Running Back on the Depth Chart. Granted he does have other uses. But a pure running back he is not.

He doesnt even think hes pure running back.?. I wouldnt trade him for anybody. He is the X factor the Saints need. When we need a big play he shows up.

Hes not even saying were going undefeated. He said they can. Who doesnt think they can go undefeated when their 6-0? Besides the only real teams the Saints play are the Falcons & Pats. I say 12-4.

I have no problem with Reggie Bush thinking the Saints are a good team. They have a shot at going undefeated. I just find it funny he couldn't stop there. He had to go and say once "I" win MVP and once "I" am in the pro-bowl.

Oh crap.  Looks like we will be seeing Mercury Morris a little early this year.

Saints going undefeated? The 1973 Dolphins begs to differ.

Thank you. With Bell and Thomas pounding the rock, we don't need Bush to be an every-down back. He is the X-factor and can break a play at any time. We are finally a balanced team and we're 6-0.

THERES NOTHING GOING UNDETEATED AND ALL BUT WE NEED TO WIN THE SUPERBOWL INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON DAT BUT BEING UNDEFEATED WUD B ANOTHA PLUS THOUGH GO SAINTS

Why wish something on someone because of what reggie said, Maybe you are just afraid that your team may have to face the saints in the superbowl.Didn't your parents ever teach  you that if don't have nice to say don't open your mouth .

uh ain't no way the saints is gonna go undefeated there a great team don't get me wrong but the dolphins showed us last week that they aren't unstoppable i mean if that game would've been against a better team given the same situation there's no way they come back n win there good but not that good i give the saints a record of 13-3 at the end of the year

I'm with you on that...one game at a time and let the stats take care of themselves..An undefeated season ...it's possible, but  like you I'm more concerned about Monday night...As for Reggie being an MVP...all I can say is " Come on man"  .....LOL

Exactly. Bush may become an MVP at some point in his career (does Madden count?), but not this year. No disrespect intended, but right now he's being outperformed by an undrafted running back and a guy who was out of football nearly a year before the Saints signed him. Not exactly MVP quality.

I'm not sure about the MVP thing just yet. Mind you, I was impressed when he took  off flying against the Dolphins from the 6 yd line on Sunday for a TD. I just could not give him my vote until he takes off from the 10 yd line. Come on Reggie...you can do it!

keep in mind as long as Reggie is in the back field. Defense of the opposite teams will have something to worry about ,so that will always leave some open for Brees to pass to

STOP TAKING THE BAIT THE MEDIA IS PLAYING YA'LL. They string together a bunch qoutes out of context. Please read what reggie actually said. Shameful Fox news like reporting.

Q: Can the Saints, now 6-0, go undefeated?
A: Of course my first answer is going to be, 'We're going to take it one game at a time, and that's our mentality" (laughs). I have to say it--if I don't say it, then I'm going to get some hell from teammates. But can we go undefeated? Yes, I do think we have the players, the chemistry, we have the heart and dedication, the coaching staff, we have the players and ..."

Now where do you see any cockyness. Where is the arrogance.? As for the Mvp/pro bowl talk came from another question.

here the link to the full interview. Please read it. the guys is being hated on by those who are jealous that he makes more off of subway commericals than they do there entire career. And his girl is hotter than their old lady in their dreams. Hell the media must be having a slow week with all this boring ass baseball. I mean it the world series and there are spending there time misquoting a running back.  Reggie break their ankles and make them eat their words, one play at a time.

I believe we can achieve with DREW BREES.   btw what was he supposed to say no we can't beat the rams, falcons, panters, cowgirls,or the redskins. Only real challenge is the Pats(btw that a monday nighter in the dome also). Over schedule is very, very favorable. We play the best teams in the dome not up north in the snow. the football gods have smiling on New Olreans. PLUCK the Piegons

Millie who do we lose too.  We only three games left with any comp. two with ya'll(atl) and a terrordome monday  niter with  the pats. After watching dallas destroy ya'll it might just be one. Only one team can beat Da SuperSaints is Da SuperSaints. elimate mistakes and execute to perferction like we have in 5-6 of the games. We spotted Miami 21 pts still beat them by 12. Oh year and we missed a pta and field goal. Score should have been 50-34
