Rockets Guard Aaron Brooks named NBA Most Improved Player

4/22/10 in NBA   |   Dream_Machine   |   13149 respect

Brooks is the first Rockets player to win one of the league’s performance awards since Steve Francis was a co-rookie of the year 10 years ago

Brooks received 62 first-place votes and a total of 403 points from a panel of 123 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada, topping Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, Marc Gasol of Memphis and San Antonio's George Hill for the honor. Durant, Gasol and Hill each finished with 101 points in the balloting.

Here is the final tally of votes of about 20-25 players that I would never have even put on the ballot. Courtesy of hoopsworld.com
