The Kansas City Royals traded Mark Teahen to the Chicago White Sox for second baseman Chris Getz and third baseman Josh Fields, the New York Daily News reports.
Teahen is expected to replace Jermaine Dye, who is a free agent, as Chicago's right fielder.
Teahen hit .271 with 12 homers and 50 RBI for the Royals in '09. He earned $3.58 million this season, and has two more years of arbitration eligibility ahead of him.
