Ryan Smyth is the best trade the Kings have made since Gretzky? Checkout why such statement was made. He does bring some greasy goals and some tough play at the net. Playoffs around the corner? I'm thinking so.

Thanks Cecil.. good article.  Ryan may not be *The Great One* yet, but it sure sounds like he is having a very positive effect on and for the Kings.  He may well grow into that title.... guess time will tell!.

I will admit that I don't get to watch as much hockey as I would like...but "greasy goals" just sounds like something that might happen one day while in prison involving a 350 pound man named Tina.

Ryan Smith is a great ambassador for the Kings. He will play his heart out.His passion for the game of hockey doesn't compare to what he is earning.Any team who were fortunate to get a guy like Ryan Smith would be proud.

Actually the Kings have made several trades over the years.

Traded for Deadmarsh, Allison, Palffy, Jack MF Johnson, Justin Williams-----------------I will come back and list others when I have more time. (You know so I can educate you on Kings trade history. )
