SEC Referee Coordinator Says Refs Have Been Great All Year! Wait...What?
SEC Referee Coordinator Says His Refs Are (actual quote) "Not Broke"...Wait...What?
READ MORE:
The SEC's coordinator of officials, Rogers Redding, says he's found nothing wrong with the performance of his conference's football referees this season, saying that it's "not broke"  and that they've had a "really good season, so far."

If by, "really good season" he means "they haven't killed anyone" then OK, he's right.  Otherwise, this guy has apparently had too much moonshine!

I get it. They're not broke because they've been paid off. It all makes sense now.

Im curious what he is comparing them to. This guy obviously needs his walking papers. He's done gone cuckoo. There has never in the history of sports been a season where officials in a particular conference have blown calls and ruined the outcome of games. I'm betting that Fla, Ala and LSU dont mind tho...... they've always seemed to benefit from them.

This guy's definitely drinkin' the wobble-pop.  Everyone associated with the SEC just assumes that they're above reproach.

You know what you people really need to get a life. What he he supposed to say we suck no he is going to show support and confidence in his grew like any one else would do when under the gun, besides there is not a conference in football that has not had bad calls the only reason the SEC is in the spot light is because they are a top the polls period, If the same calls were made in Conference USA no one would have even heard about it, and you know that is the truth.

I think what Rogers Redding is trying to say is there courrpt way of officating "not broke" so there not going to fix it, otherwise they may go broke.

If it's not broke...then why did a ref crew get suspended?

I don't really care what conference the officiating crew comes from if there wrong there wrong and they need to act grown and admits there's a problem. Maybe establish a committee to look at these problems, and fix what is wrong, if its training, or be reprimanded what ever it takes to slow this down in all conferences I know there is now way to stop all bad calls.

Its not us or the media bringing the bad officiating to life.  It is the coaches and the players from the opposing team in the SEC sounding off to the media after the game and during the week about it.  So if they stop talking about it to the media, the media would stop reporting on it and we all will stop commenting on it. and you know that is the truth.

Honestly can't complain about it from the schools side I mean they are just playing they can't give it back even if they want to give it back.

Why do you seem to be on every post remotely involving the SEC, writing elaborate comments.

Go figure, a Florida fan giving props to the SEC refs.

Why is there article after article bad mouthing the SEC and Florida, it's like everyone seem to think shit only happens in the SEC. Like I said before if the SEC was not on top this would have been no more then one article and that's it, but people can't stand a winner (unless it is their team) so they try to make themselves feel better by bashing the guy at the top. As a fan I am compelled to point that out.

I have never once gave the refs props. I am in complete agreement that the officiating has been horrible. I am just tired of people acting like it only happens in the SEC and games are being rigged or fixed.
