This isn't exaclty relevant news but...

Sammy Sosa has corked his bat, very likely used steroids, forgotten how to speak English in front of Congress and now, appears to be getting lighter.  And no, I'm not talking about losing weight.  It could be vitiligo (the skin-lightening genetic disorder Michael Jackson claimed to suffer from), after-effects of steroid use, or just too much powder from his makeup person and a hot camera flash.  Whatever it is, the dude just looks freaky!

11 years ago I waited in line for 4 hours so that I could stand for Sammy Sosa Day at Wrigley Field (during the phony home run race with Big Mac).  I never thought he would someday turn into Erik Estrada.

im sooooooooooooo sick and tired of alllllllllllll the sammy sosa bashers. get off it already. for 13 GLORIOUS YEARS HE WAS THE FACE of a team that couldnt do a damn thing without him, kept fans going to games and yes cheered his every homerun, along with the rest of the country, during THE GREAT HR RACE OF 98..SO just because 1-2 media idiots start trashing the man, everyone thinks it the right thing to do.did he leave his team on the last day of the season, YEA, but he wasnt in the lineup anyway, SOOO whats the big deal, did he cork 1 bat, YEA, but 150 or so others were checked RIGHT AFTER  the game and you know how many others were found ZEROOOOOOOOO. SO you do the math. did he use roids, DONT KNOW, but look at allllll the others that admitted it, were booed and raked over the coals, A-ROD comes to mind, and are all of a sudden  FORGOTTEN AND ADORED AGAIN, whats with that. so, was SOSA an ANGEL, NO, but alot of HALL OF FAMERS WERE'NT EITHER, so, decide for yourselves, if you were a SOSA fan, and liked him before, what has changed, ooooooooh yea, THE MEDIA SAYS HE IS A BUM. well whatever, i was and still am a BIG,BIG BIG SAMMY SOSA FAN, ALWAYS AND FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are not bashing Sosa, we are wondering what is going on with his apparent skin-lightening. I can only hope its the flash, a photoshop trick  or swine flu. This has nothing to do with his corked back; it's his skin that looks corked now.

im speaking in general, the guy breathes wrong, and ill be damned if some news hound will turn it into a story, and yet they ADORE A-ROID ........ AGAIN, IS THIS JUSTICE !!!!!!!!!

Trust me, if and when A-Rod's skin tone changes significantly from it's current orange, I'll do my  best to bring it to light, along with his many years of postseason choking, his roid use, his walking out on his wife, his banging Madonna, his two paintings of himself above his bed, etc etc.  Be patient!  These things take time!

Yikes! I can't believe Sammy Sosa is a whitey! He claims that the camera's flash augmented the whiteness of his skin, but I dunno, we haven't seen any photos of him since.
