The Chargers have released Chris Chambers today - no surprise there in my opinion. He was replaced in the starting lineup this past week by Floyd so he had to have seen the writing on the wall. I personally don't think it will hurt Phillip Rivers at all.
Chambers was pretty good with Miami considering they had nothing. He will catch on (no pun intended) with someone else but will never put up numbers like he did with Miami. He is the least of the Chargers problems...beating Oakland by 8...thats friggin weak

Chambers never had a chance in Miami. Its not his fault. His problem in San Diego was he was always the fourth option. Jackson first...checkdown to Gates...checkdown to LT third.
When Vincent Jackson is pulling down 7-8 catches for 125 yds per game, you can take a chance on releasing Chambers. I still like Chris Chambers...Kind of wish the Bolts would have kept him!
