San Jose Sharks Eliminate the Detroit Red Wings

One thing about working at a golf course - you work Saturday nights, usually because of a Golf Tournament.

The neat thing is, you get home just in time to see the finale of all kinds of things - like the last two laps of the NASCAR race at Darlington, and the last period of hockey - and get to see the San Jose Sharks eliminate the Detroit Red Wings.

As a Canadian, I'm not completely sorry I missed seeing the Penguins eliminate the Habs  the Penguins win against the Habs, but the Sharks showing they aren't just a regular season team was well worth missing that.

The Sharks established their appearance in the Final Four - en route to Lord Stanley's Cup.
