In last night's Florida Marlins/San Francisco Giants game, Giants catcher Buster Posey was steamrolled by Marlins outfielder Scott Cousins on a play at the plate and as a result, Posey has a broken leg and torn ligaments, an injury that will sideline the 2010 NL Rookie of the Year for most of the rest of the season.  Even though there seems to be nothing dirty about the play, ESPN baseball reporter Buster Olney immediately tweeted that MLB and the players association should ban the play of catchers blocking home plate.
