Yeah, I don't see this as "redemption bowl". Neither of these guys really earned their starting job back. They both kind of got it by default when the guy in front of them wasn't getting the job done. And no matter who wins on Sunday, I don't think you can crown either of these guys as "back".
It will take a lot for either Smith or Young to really be back on top. I think both SF and Tennessee will be looking for new QB options come the off season.
Redemption bowl - no. Joint fact-finding mission - yes. Neither of these two QB's have ever played each other, thus one cannot be looking for redemption over the other, neither were traded from the other team so there is no redemption there, and as far as redeeming one's career - that takes more than one game.
