Steroids do not help you hit home runs

One thing that is often overlooked is that steroids help you recover from injury, they help add endurance. What steroids do not do is help you hit a ball far. You need the speed and reaction time to get the bat moving and send the ball out of the park. Steroids don't help this.

Why are steroids such a big issue? I say because people don't want to let go of baseballs history. They need a reason to hang on to the Mickey Mantles, Hank Aarons, Babe Ruths and Jackie Robinson's so they are searching for an excuse. Steroids aren't a valid one, at least not scientifically.
