Steve McNair dead, likely killed in murder suicide by Sahel Kazemi
Police are not searching for suspects in the Steve McNair case, meaning Sahel Kazemi likely killed McNair in a murder-suicide.
Police are not looking for any suspects in the death of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi, meaning that because McNair was shot multiple times, and Kazemi was shot only once, it looks an awful lot like Kazemi committed a murder-suicide.

The Nashville police are scheduled to have a press conference this afternoon to explain the case.

On ESPN they seemed a bit coy (or even confused) as to why McNair was even there (I think they mentioned he either owned or lived in a nearby apartment).  What in the world could've possibly lead to such violence?  Like counting said, McNair was never in any trouble (drugs, violence, etc.)  What are the odds the woman tried to blackmail him or something, and he wasn't having any of it, and he showed up to tell her that?
Such a damned waste of what was a great player, and one of the NFL's truely nice guys.

"On May 9, 2007 McNair was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving. Both the driver of the vehicle, which was his brother-in-law, and McNair were arrested for driving under the influence. Under Tennessee law, one can still be arrested for DUI even if you are a passenger in your own car and the driver is found to be under the influence. McNair owned the pick-up truck involved and was charged with DUI by consent.[10] The charges were dropped on July 10, 2007.[11]"

The man wasn't even driving his vehicle at the time which, frankly, sounds somewhat responsible choice making. That law is a bit screwy, but as you see the charges were dropped so this is much ado about nothing.

it is interesting how everyone is now saying all the bad thigs about him... considring who is in the National Felons League right now Steve McNair did not get what was comng to him, was it an affair WE don't know but how quick we are to say it is. why not let the man rest in peace?  after allwhat if you were the one shot would you want them talking about you like this?

Good points.  My only point was that he had been involved in some scrapes in the past.  Not a choirboy.  He's a very popular figure in Nashville so let's just say a lot of his 'indisgretions' were swept under the rug.

Thank you for making this a human issue again, and we don't and sadly may never have all the facts in this terrible situation.

Also in many places there are financial inducements to accepting the "graveyard" shift.

There is some risk involved with being a celebrity. There is some risk involved when you're cheating on your wife.  Uniting the two together is seriously risky, and that appears to have been the nature of the situation. Unfortunately, it cost the lives of two young people.

Lemme see...if I came home from a night on the town and explained to my wife that while I was drunk and didn't drive, I let my drunk B-I-L drive me home instead, I highly doubt that she would think I made the "responsible choice".

Police say PB (Psycho Bitch) bought the gun 2 days before, so I am revising my theory.  Here's what I think happened now.....
  • McNair gets mad at Kazemi for getting a DUI on Thursday, probably another in a long list of foolish things this girl has done to make him look bad in public.  He threatens her that he's going to go back to his wife.
  • Kazemi runs out and buys a gun (ain't no way she's letting him go back to the wife)
  • McNair has it out with her again on Friday night (for who knows what, probably a laundry list of immature things about this girl) and basically tells Kazemi that it's over.
  • McNair goes out to the club to clear his head -- alone -- much to Kazemi's disliking. (By now, she's evolved from Stalker to Psycho).
  • McNair comes back to the condo later that night and crashes on the couch (where police found his body).  Notice he does not sleep in bed with Psycho Bitch.
  • Psycho Bitch waits for McNair to fall asleep on the couch and then uses her new weapon to pump him full of lead.
  • Psycho bitch kills herself.

This has all the makings of a domestic violence/stalker case.  Very sad.

If you were trashed, and unable to operate a vehicle, you simply don't need to be driving bottom line, end of story. His friend may have been relatively sober, what do you know? .08 isn't very much. So yes it was SOMEWHAT responsible as I said earlier.

It's sad. I always loved watching McNair play. I hate that he made choices in his personal life that led to such a tragic end.

So he was in a vehicle with a 20 year old; she gets arrested, but he gets to go home in a taxi?!?!

How'd that minor get drugs/alcohol in the first place?

Can we stop bashing him while he's still warm? I can't imagine what his wife thinks of all this, but I wouldn't want to be causing her more pain. You're all talking like he was a buddy of yours. Leave her alone. There are more than 2 victims here.

Let me say this.  I work in the sports radio industry.  You want to be treated like a hero then act heroic.  The sad fact is when someone dies (i.e. Jacko) that it's sad.  Period.  A father, a son, a friend are gone.  But when you're in the public eye all of your strengths & all of your weaknesses are on display.  it would be irresponsible to not report this accurately.  He died under strange circumstances.  Should we ignore that he was at his mistress's home when this happened?  Of course not.  It's not 'bashing' it's reporting the incident fairly.

People remember what they want about a guy after he's dead.

Just look at Michael Jackson, dude molested that kid and paid $22 million to get out of it, but today people are acting like he was a Saint.

Honestly, two weeks ago, most folks would not have let MJ babysit their kids?  But, today he's a hero.  LOL.

And the cops in aren't looking for any suspects... and it just so happens that some cop who appears to have a bug up his a$$ for McNair is involved in *both* DUI arrests?

Is that just supposed to be some weird coincidence? Or are the cops in Nashville protecting one of their own from an investigation?

I'm not saying, I'm just saying.... seems fishy to me.

Yes it's very sad !  I loved watching Mcnair play as well, and to have his life end like that so sad. I feel so sorry for his family , wife and 4 kids . It's one thing to have been killed, but  he's in the media killed with his girlfriend, she going through it. Luv should have took his azz home last night, and maybe he would still be here today. So sad, and a great loss !!!!

I didn't say anything about reporting the incident. I'm talking about these comments. The people are just bashing him about cheating on his wife, being drunk, having a 20 yr. old girlfriend. And this is fair? To who? His wife and kids? You're right, a real reporter would focus on the facts. The National Enquirer would be focusing on the scandal and shame. O.K. Then let's focus on what a good football player he was until all the facts are known. You work in the sports radio industry? Then you should already know this.

Regardless of his personal issues and choices he made in his life we still need to remember 2 lives were lost.  I am not saying having an affair is okay.. I feel bad for his family and children in thistragic situation!   It is still a sad day in Football history.. McNair was an awesome QB and he will be missed.. He put the TITANS on the map as far as Fooball is concerned.

Who are you, one of the Hardy Boys? Let's not try to get a conspiracy started. I'm sure the CSI made sure it was a murder/suicide before they made any decisions. Get real.!! Are you not saying or are you just saying?

ummm if it was a murder/suicide then why haven't they called it that? just cause they are not looking for a suspect doesn't mean there isn't one and if the police haven't said that it is a M/S then how do you call it that?

the reason I said that is if you were actually watching the news and not just jumping on the oh it is a murder suicide bandwagon that you were so quick to jump on... it is interesting that all the people want to just take a hair of news and run with it..... as for the school thing I will let my kids deal with you on that.

Hey, cant we all just get along here and wait til they determine what happened after they investigate?  Its all speculation at this point in time!!  : ) :) RIP Steve  and my prayers go out to all the victims in this tragedy!

I think this is such a tragic thing to happen, however, if he had been at home with his wife and 4 boys (like he should have) this wouldn't have happened!  Society pays to much attention to the athlete, or entertainers, etc. in life.  It is a shame that those people aren't trying to be role models in and out of the public eye.(for all that are watching) So many children watching want to be like those (stars).  God doesn't care what kind of entertainer, athlete, etc. you are. Just how your life has been lived while on earth according to his word.  I think it is so.......sad for his wife and children! How could he do this to them! How selfish!  Why did the roommate call a friend to call 911, why didn't he do it?!

It was VERY well known that he paraded his mistress around Nashville & bought her a car and an apartment, etc.  Those are all facts.  When a 36 year old dies under tragic circumstances those circumstances will be talked about for better or for worse.

Yes, I am one of the Hardy Boys, thank you very much for noticing. Now I'm off to work on the case of the FanIQ member who is both a fan of the Gators and Buckeyes.... very fishy there.

And Memphis PD hasn't ruled the female death a suicide yet. They are taking their sweet time if all the evidence definitely pointed to a murder/suicide.

Nothing is *more* grade school than your Hardy Boys reference, lol. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

He was no hero.He was a hood rat that did like most black men with money and bought him a young girl that without cash he could only dream about.he was a sorry father and his actions make black stars look even worse. And the 911 call was a joke,if that had been a white star kiled the 911 cal lwould have been looked into more. And white woman you shouldnt let these rich hood rats buy you it makes whites look bad, truth is without there money they still be somthing nasty youd turn your nose up at.
