Tampa radio host Dan Sileo has been suspended after making comments about the Glazer family, who own the Tampa Bay Bucs. He alleged that they lost $440M in a Ponzi scheme, according to a friend of his who works for the SEC.
Joel Glazer made a public statement declaring that the reports were 100% false, and implied that the family might seek legal action against the radio host.
He was then suspended by his employer, Clear Channel Communications. I guess it's not wise to throw around statements like that about people with a lot more clout than yourself.
