Texas linebacker Sergio Kindle drives car into girl's apartment
Texas linebacker drives car into girl's apartment. Hilarity ensues.
All Big-12 linebacker Sergio Kindle drove his car into a girl's apartment last week, and apparently lacking any other options, decided to simply abandon the car, go home, and fall asleep.

Somewhere, Lance Briggs approves.

Kindle's lawyer said he was "probably text messaging" when he lost control of his car and smashed into a campus apartment building, driving half-way into the bedroom of 21-year-old Ashley Zapata. Witnesses said Kindle and his friends then got out of the car, pushed it back into the street, and then abandoned it.

Kindle just so happened to be suspended for three games back in 2007 for a DUI, so perhaps "text messaging" is code for "drunk out of his mind."

Where was Ashley Zapata that she didn't notice a car, first in, then being pushed out of, her bedroom?  The hilarity is that the police department didn't get there to arrest him before he had a chance to go home and pass out go to sleep.

Is there such a thing as "Text messaging under the influence"?

I'm sure this guy's getting the best experience possible at UT... following in the footsteps of Ricky Williams and Vince Young.

There are a lot of hilarious questions to be asked about this incident.

She wasn't in her apartment at the time but had she been there and been at her desk, they would have hit her.

Don't worry horns fans, I'm sure whatever severe discipline Mack dishes out will be over by the OU game.  Too bad  they flipped the dates for the Texas Tech and Central Florida games, meaning ut may actually have to play a team a notch above texas high school  6A (Texas Tech, September 19) before October....

Well Jubanator you take the cleaverness right out of it huh Captain Obvious, then we have billy whos comment doesn't have anything to do with this article. Now im a Horns fan and a Kindle fan also but considering the circumstances His punishment should fit the crime even if they choose to suspend him for the year so be it. He needs to get his act together.
