The Browns suck so bad that they make Jamal Lewis want to retire.

After another loss, Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis said that he's hanging it up after this season because he's so disgusted with the way the team has played.  Having won a Super Bowl ring and getting in trouble with the law, he has had the NFL career most players dream of.  Let's hope that he can convince Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson to follow him into retirement.

Cleveland, OH (AP) - A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Cuyahoga County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Cleveland Browns, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

My suggestion is that the Browns be moved to the MAC.

Who can blame Jamal! The Browns should keep Joe Thomas, Shaun Rogers, Mohammad Massaquoi, and get rid of the others, including Mangini, and Kokinus. Hire Mike Shanahan or John Gruden as coach and GM, and hire Bernie Kosar as President of Football Operations. That being said, All of the loyal Browns fans are planning a" Brown out" at Cleveland Browns Stadium, Nov 15, against the Baltimore Ravens. Plus, the game is NOT SOLD OUT !!! We Browns fans are sick and tired of seeing this team playing crappy football every year for the past year and a half . Dadburn! It makes me cottonpickin' sick!!!

If you hadn't ran Art Modell for wanting a new stadium and Bill Belichick for benching Bernie Kosar out of town you would have won a Suoer Bowl by now. Oh that's right, Jamal Lewis already has a Super Bowl ring and you  are stuck with an expansion team. You Cleveland fans got what you deserved.

Well Belichik's benching of Kosar for changing a play, to a play that scored a touch down no less, was not the ultimate reason he was fired; it was due to a record that was worse than that of the much more likable Sam Rutigliano.  The Modell situation is at least semi-valid.

Not true, Kosar was benched because he got sacked seven times in the shotgun formation, which was supposed to give him more time behind a line that was unjustly ridiculed. When Testaverde was inserted as QB, the sacks were nearly eliminated. Kosar was then sent packing to Dallas where he filled in for two games while Aikman was injured. They had to bring Aikman back early because they found out Kosar couldn't even hit Emmit Smith with a swing pass out of the backfield. The Cowboys released him after winning the Super Bowl and the Dolphins picked him up. His reason for signing with Miami was Joe Robbie Stadium was 15 minutes from his home. Remember, Bill Belichick angered Kosar fans when he told the truth, quote"Bernie Kosar has diminished skills." Don't get me wrong, Kosar was good despite his lack of athleticism, but when he took that hit against Kansas City that destroyed his arm, his career was pretty much over. Belichick also angered Patriot fans by getting rid of a washed up Drew Bledsoe for a guy named Tom Brady. The rest is history.
