The Importance of Being Earnest

by jrbucfan | 9/25/0712 Comment Comments »
With all the bad news in th NFL this year I really hope this guy makes it. Not everyone could have kept getting up but Earnest Graham is what I love about football and I am glad he is a Buccaneer.

+1 thumbs upGraham is going to be great. Money and fame are nice but it doesn't mean anything if your heart is not in the game. He has heart and just never gave up on the game he loves.

There are not many people who have this much passion for the game as this young man.  He has a lot of skill and I am happy that he has not given up.  I hope that the Bucs relize this and sign him another 4 years at the end of his contract.  If not another team will pick him up.  He is a great running back.

+1 thumbs upGood for Graham, hearing about guys with his attitude and humility is always refreshing.

And this story features another good guy in a prominent role: Michael Pittman. Always there, blocking for 1000-yard backs. Always becoming the reliable backup when the main man goes down. And in this case, handing over duties (and in the end, accolades) to the person who needed the boost at a crucial point in his career. Thanks for posting!
