The Kansas City Chiefs have claimed former Chargers WR Chris Chambers off of waivers
Chris Chambers has been claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs. Another target for Matt Cassel? Or just another disappointment?
Chris Chambers has been a disappointment since he was traded from the Dolphins to the Chargers, and they waived him earlier this week. The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly picked him up, meaning he will probably be a disappointment for another AFC West team.

Chambers showed some potential when he was in Miami, but hasn't really done much ever since, and I have a hard time believing that the adjustment ot the KC offense will be an easy one for him. It's not exactly a thriving system, and Chambers might not help too much.

At the very least, he's just one more guy to whom Matt Cassel can throw the ball. But I'm not sure if that's enough to make a difference in KC... is it?

Well it seems he does better in bad offences I mean Miami's was nothing spectacular, and he didnt play so well with a good Chargers offence....so maybe this trip to KC will work out for him.

He's a disappointing target. That works.

Chambers is an OK pick up by the Chiefs, but it doesnt matter. The Chiefs stink anyway.

It all seemed to fall apart for Chambers after he was suspended for performance enhancing drugs.

Chambers can ball.... or should I say, he used to be able to ball when he would commit himself. Now, I guess we just have to wait and see if his head has been removed from his hind orifice. Maybe we should check his bank balance for a clue.

well he hasn't done that well during the season 9 catches but my dad says because they haven't thrown the ball to hime that often and norv turner in the conference meeting said that he has shown great effort at the practice so i think it was a bad choice releasing chris chambers.

Chargers had to cut somebody for the addition of a LB Jame Holt because LB Tim Dobbins went down and is out for a couple of weeks.  Chambers has not performed this year and Vince Jackson and Malcom Floyd have been solid.
