#3 \| 233 days ago shschill (+)	This is weak. How can they make a rule up on the fly like that. Its The Playoffs, um time for a rule change. For now on, an opposing player can not face the goal tender and do naughty things.

#6 \| 232 days ago nyrangers (+)	+1 This is why the NHL is a joke. They can't just change/make up a new rule in the middle of the playoffs in one day. If I am not mistaken, it takes a 30-0 vote on the board of governors to do such a thing, and I don't think such a vote has been conducted. It just seems like this rule is in favor of Marty Broduer and the Devils. After the season is over, you can review it, and add/change a rule if it is found nessesary. Call Avery's antics what you like, but it was completely legal- he was only putting himself at risk. Anyway, that was just an effective screen, he doesn't have to be trying to make a play on the puck.
