The Tigers say that they are open to the idea of trading Curtis Granderson

Curtis Granderson usually doesn't come to mind when talking about some of the best outfielders in baseball, but anyone who has been paying attention knows that this kid has some serious potential, and is developing into a hell of a player. The Tigers are shopping him around, according to GM Dave Dombrowski, and of course the New York Yankees are reportedly at the top of the list of teams that are interested in him, possibly for prospect Austin Jackson.

Granderson's strikeout numbers are a little higher than most teams would like, but other than that, he's exactly what you would want from an outfielder. He has a career batting average of .272, and is good for about 25-30 HR and 20 stolen bases every year. He's also a spectacular defensive outfielder.

As a Red Sox fan, I'd love to see them give him a look. With Jason Bay possibly heading out of town, he could be a nice replacement. Add an elite shortstop to that, and they'd have a formidable team to challenge the Yankees.
