The X Factor in the Bengals-Steelers Rematch

The Cincinnatti Bengals beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 3 23-20 with two late touchdown drives.  Troy Polamalu didn't play in that game. Some people think if he did the late collapses of the defense wouldn't have occured. He will play this week in the rematch.

But Polamalu is not the only player who didn't play in that game. Rashard Mendenhall has started all five games the Steelers have played since that loss in Cincinnatti. He is averaging 5.7 yards per carry and has at least one run ove 10 yards in each of those games. He is a big reason the Steelers have won five straight after losing to the Bengals.

He is having one of the best starts (minus last year of course) of any running back in Steelers history. This makes him my "X" factor for this weeks game at Heinz Field.
