According to Forbes estimates, Tiger Woods has now surpassed the $1 Billion mark for his career, and is the first athlete to do so. Michael Jordan trails at an estimated $800M, and Michael Schumaker's earnings are estimated at $700M.

i think that tiger should donate money to golf programs so that the children that cannot afford to play golf can play golf because of the donated money from tiger woods

I know that he has a foundation for children. I mean Tiger's efforts should be good enough to allow some of under privileged kids becoming top golfers.

OK, Arun...  I understand what you were saying now.  You're right about the Tiger Woods Foundation (in California), but that is mostly for the selected academic over-achievers, regardless of their income status.  However, I'm with you - I just don't know why more young underprivlidged youth don't jump on the wagon and ride this opportunity.  There's also the First Tee Program in most large cities, which Tiger contributes to.  It supplies and gives out free equipment (GOOD STUFF, TOO) to the kids, just for showing up.  A big problem is that the parents of these underprivilidged youth have to bring them to the sites, and put the time in with them!!  They just don't do it enough, though...  Anyway, enjoy the upcoming President's Cup! (CMB)

I believe that  there is a time when money can't make a difference in someones life.Such a time is where Tiger woods stands right now. Even if he makes $ 900m more today, there is going to be hardly a change in his life, lifestyle or otherwise, so the question is what do you do with the money? Give it out? OK. The Tiger woods foundation is such a good idea but unless he gets involved personally and gets to understand the real issues on the ground, the Foundation will make no difference at all since it will actually attract the most privileged as opposed to the underprivileged. I think for starters he should first take a deep breath and imagine what if he were an underprivileged kid, what would he have wanted most?

Wow Tiger you need to have people write to you for grant money. Congrats Tiger on being a billionaire i thought you were a billionaire 10 yrs ago already. You have such a great talent, on a good or bad day no one in golf is hotter than you Tiger. As rap artist Plies says WHO HOTTER THAN ME, hahahaha.  No one hotter than you Tiger, hahahhahha. You got it and nobody has it in golf hahahahha.
