Tiger Woods hasn't contended at the US Open, making it boring

Tiger Woods is 11 shots back at the US Open, and hasn't been in contention the whole time. Even though he still has almost 2 rounds to go, only one person has ever won a US Open after being 11 shots back after the first two rounds.

Let's be honest, the US Open has sucked, and it's because isn't contending at all.

from all of what i call real golf fans except for the weather  this has been one of the best U.S.Opens. There are alot of golf fans that love to watch golf just to see tiger get beat.

Hopefully, today will be better.  That guy at -8 isn't going to stay there, so if Tiger could get -2 or so at the end of the third round (wishful thinking).

You shouldn't look at it as being bad because your favorite player isn't winning. A true sports fan watches for the love of the sport and hopes that their favorite players are the ones that are doing well. I like Tigers Woods too but if he was the only player golfing it wouldn't be much fun to watch. It takes more than one player in any sport to make it fun to watch.

This has been a good open outside of the weather screwing everything up. I like it when Woods isnt in contention so we can see some of the other talented golfers on the tour. Only a casual golf fan or someone trying to say something inflammatory would say this open sucks. Hmm who could ever that be. . . .

Heard it has been good but since I'm not an avid fan I'm just not trying to keep up with all the rain delays and all that.  Woods can be in contention or not but I'm still a fan to check out other golfers too.

Hate is such a strong word...........i really do respect what tiger has done for the game,i think what my problem with tiger is that he has had a free ride in golf since he turned pro ( which was not his fault ) but he has never had to play the game of golf for a living , never had the pressure that comes with HAVING  to produce to put money in the bank.(remember  he got 20 million from nike before he ever hit a ball as a pro).and we really dont want to get into tv coverage of tiger,if he is in a tournament thats all you see .........if he is not in a tournament.........thats all they talk about.

What is being overlooked is the return of David Duvall. I am glad he is back. Tiger once said this is one of the only golfers that Tiger was nervous playing against. Plus he was the #1 golfer in the world before Tiger took it over

hey chuck how ru doin???? ya hate is a strong word thats y i always try to avoid it..... i think golf is a rich game so only rich people could play that game....so that doesnt matter that nike or anyother brand paying him millions dollar or more than that bcoz he already has lots of money so he doesnt require to play living ......while playing he is enjoying .....
