Tiger Woods tops the list, but the real interesting stuff comes later. For example, did you know that Steve Francis made more than Tom Brady last year? Wow.
Whoa now... they all pay a LOT of taxes. If you really don't think they deserve the money, then don't spend any of YOUR money on cable bills, game tickets, team-related merchandise, or any products that they endorse. By feeding the monster with your hard-earned dollars, you're helping to give them these exorbitant salaries.

But they DO deserve the money. It's called capitalism. As long as everyone is willing to pay hundreds of dollars to see them play, and hundreds more for their cable packages to watch every game, and buy the jerseys, hats, t-shirts, etc, they deserve to see the money from those things.
Think about it... that money has to go somewhere... should the owners get it? Or should the players? You know they're not just going to lower their prices, because everyone is buying their product, so there's no need to. No one else in the country lowers prices with high demand.
No matter what anyone says, and no matter how much it doesn't make sense, they really do deserve the money, because they provide a service that a lot of people are willing to pay a lot of money for.
Whether or not they pay taxes is between them and the government... but I would pretty much guarantee that anyone who makes that kind of money, the government is doing everything they can to get their hands on as many of their dollars as possible.
