3	LEE SMITH SHOULD BE IN THE HOF, HE ACTUALLY EARNED HIS SAVES, NOT LIKE TODAY WHEN THEY HAND THEM OUT LIKE M&M'S, THE SAVE IS THE WORST STAT INBASEBALL.

Even as a White Sox I have to agree that Lee Arthur Smith should be considered one of the best closers. When he had that slider going he just ate dudes up.

1	Bruce Sutter should be 2nd (behind Rivera). Eckersley was amazing, but for a much shorter period of time as a closer. Sutter was unhittable for the Cubs and Cardinals.
