The UCLA Bruins have received another blow to their reloading efforts: Talented freshman forward Tyler Honeycutt will miss possibly a month with a stress reaction in his right tibia.
A 6-7 small forward from Los Angeles, Honeycutt was the highest-ranked player among UCLA's newcomers. Scout.com had him No. 21 in the 2009 class. He injured the leg in practice Saturday and had an MRI later that day.
Nearly every significant player on the Bruins roster has missed practice time at some point this fall with an injury or illness, including point guard Jerime Anderson (groin), power forward James Keefe (shoulder), wing Malcolm Lee (concussion) and freshman forward Mike Moser (back).
