Not the only terrible call in the game. A punted ball clearly hit a Louisville player and Uconn recoverd on about the 1 yard line. I don't know what the refs saw but it ended up being Louisville ball on I think the 16. So it's not like all the calls went Uconn's way.

Uconn played good defense against a heisman canidate QB in Brohm. Only 7 points after the entire first half for Louisville.  Not that Uconn's offense was any better (0 points) but Uconn is known for its defense not offense. It was a sweet game and can't wait for Uconn vs. USF this week.

+1 thumbs upEverything that happened after this no-call is a bi-product of the horrendous lapse of judgment.  And it was by no means CLEAR that it hit Carter's hand.  If it was clear, then teh refs would have overturned the call.  It wasn't nearly as clear as the hand waving above the head of the UConn return man.

And any real football fan knows that the weather was the big defender on Friday night. I know that it played a huge role in Louisville's successful defense...

All of this said ... horrible calls, etc ... Louisville still needs to beat UConn.

Oh but Uconn is in the process of becoming a national powerhouse in college football. Just wait. UCONN!

Yeah I'd like to know who came up with the saying "cheaters never win", because they did that time!!!

What did they win? A meaningless game between 2 teams who are going nowhere this year. That's not much of a win.

I'm a BC fan first, but I could list about a dozen reasons why Hawaii will end up going further than UConn this year. Not the least of which being the facts that Hawaii is still undefeated, and has been ranked ALL YEAR.

Yeah i was just saying Hawaii because:

1. From what I know you are in Hawaii and have season tickets

2. BC is actually good.

3. I don't like Colt Brennan

true enough, but it did put the final nail in the coffin for any chance for lou getting a bowl game, but with wv, sfu, and rutg still on the sched, i dont think it really matters anyhow.

This bad no-call is a perfect example of how one mistake can change the course of a game
