Interested in seeing who got drafted by the UFL last night? Here you go. You'll probably recognize a few names on this list, by the way.

Man, there is quite a bit of scorn and contempt for these guys. I love to act like a snob as much as the next guy, but I'm pretty sure that I would be lucky to be as good at football as most of these guys. Not being good enough to play football at the highest level in the world hardly makes someone a loser, IMO. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

If by "interesting" you mean "sucktastic."

They'd probably take that as a compliment.

no everyone just gets locations of all the Burger Kings. The money they can save at BK is better than anything the UFL can afford to pay.

Branden Ledbetter is the man...he'll lead the TE's in receiving yards and touchdowns.  Hell, he'll lead the entire UFL!

I only know that name because his brother played on the Raiders (deep bench player) and then went to the Giants to win a Super Bowl ring (still, deep bench player).  I can only hope that he can become a star in the UFL so we can here the announcers trip over his name all over the place.

Like Demetri Martin says regarding the word 'banana,' "You just don't know when to end the 'na's.' Bana, that's wrong. Bananana, damn!

It's funny how they mention the colleges when guys like him played in the NFL for many years.

Haters are out in full force. There is actually some talent on these rosters. Besides at least they are playing somewhere

do we really need to go down this road again I am all for the NFL loosening up and letting the players play but a rival league will probably not help out

Board Member 1: I've never heard of half of these guys and the ones I do know are way past their prime.
Charlie Donovan: Most of these guys never had a prime.
Board Member 2: This guy here is dead.
Rachel Phelps: Cross him off then.

It's not a bad opportunity for some player development.

Am I the only one who likes this idea? I hope this league does well. I mean I watch other sports, but in my world, football is king. And this league will give us something to watch while in the deep offseason.
