Vince Young passed well against the Cardinals on Sunday

I've been one of the most outspoken Vince Young critics, ever since his rookie year, when he fraudulently took home the Rookie of the Year award. He was great in college, and he has shown the ability to do some big things with his legs in the NFL, but he has never shown even a glimpse of greatness (or even averageness) as a passer. Until yesterday, that is. He's still not Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but Vince Young showed the ability to move the ball with his arm, and not just resort to running his way out of trouble.

I'd like to see this from him a few more times before we anoint him as the next big thing, but at the very least, Vince has shown that he's capable of being an effective passer in the NFL.

He's not an MVP candidate, but at least Vince Young is showing that he just might be an NFL QB. It's a start.
