Walter Jones placed on IR, will be done for the year

If Seahawks fans were hoping for a comeback this year, forget it. Walter Jones is shut down for the season.

Walter Jones, who is arguably the best player in recent Seahawks history, is done for the year after being placed on Injured Reserve. Jones had not yet played a game this year, and now it looks like he won't at all.

This is another huge blow to the Seahawks, whose success used to be marked by a great offensive line, anchored by Jones and Steve Hutchinson. Now, Hutch is in Minnesota, and Jones is out for the year. Things aren't looking good for them.

5	It's actually looking quite possible that Jones is done for good. sigh It's past due time to get Ruskell out of there, Holmgren in, draft some O-liners and rebuild this mess.

man walt need too go head n jus retire i know it sucks but he need too b more concerned about his health than playin football again cause he hasn't played a full season n forever n is gettin too that point where he needs too jus stop
