Want to buy stock in a future NBA player? Might not be as ridiculous as it sounds...

Apparently, they do this for soccer players all the time in Brazil. Dan Shanoff talks about the possibility of investing in a guy like Brandon Jennings, paying him to train non-stop for a year, instead of playing in Europe, and then getting a cut of his rookie contract.

Interesting concept... could it work here?
