Yankees get kicked out of Cleveland Ritz Carlton because Saudi Arabian princess takes 90 rooms

Man, and you thought A-Rod was rich.

The Yankees had no room at the Cleveland Ritz Carlton these last few days because a Saudi Arabian princess was in town and took up the remaining 90 rooms in the place for herself and her handlers. I don't even know what that translates to per night. Probably close to $100K.

The Yankees are currently staying in a youth hostel.*

No, they got kicked out because the Ritz was pissed at Nick Swisher trying to steal towels. Also they were not pleased with Giambi lack of shirt or shoes in the lobby.

Which would have been a funny comment, except for the Epic Fail of not knowing Giambi no longer plays for the Yankees. With all of the media attention this team gets....there is no excuse.

I didn't know this until a week ago either...We do hear enough about the team, but I just assumed he was on the DL or grooming his stache in the dugout with no one paying attention to him.

It's not like he's talked about daily over there in Oakland..
