If the Yankees want CC, they're going to have offer him something utterly ridiculous to get him. Something like 180/6 or 200-210/7. CC wants to go out West or stay in Milwaukee, so the money is going to have to be out of everyone else's league to retain him. The Angels are preparing a huge offer (supposedly 140/6) so I'd consider them the leader at this point.
Also, apparently CC's best friend in baseball is David Riske. Would not have guessed that.
Well I guess Riske back in the day was an Indian. I just never saw them together. I would've guessed Prince, Cameron, and Sheets before him.
Apparently CC loved Cleveland and genuinely liked Milwaukee. He seems to be a real laid back guy so I wouldn't doubt it. There's no doubt in my mind though that his first choice to go out west, preferably as close to home (San Fran) as possible.
As for Rickie... he's been very frustrating, but I don't want to give up on him yet. If he ever puts it together after we trade him, we'd definitely regret it. He's finally an average defender overall, has great range, and is surprisingly patient at the plate. He "just" needs to get more hits from the balls he puts into play.
